E-Rate Information

E-Rate, a federal funded subsidy, provides discounts to eligible schools and libraries for purchasing telecommunication services, Internet Access and in some cases technology hardware to support these services. This program is administered by the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) under the direction of the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).

MECnet has been a service provider participating in the E-Rate program since 1998. Our Staff is trained to assist you with E-Rate once you have completed the competitive bidding process. We also coordinate annual trainings at various locations in Massachusetts and keep our customers informed of filing deadlines and changing requirements as they occur.
